Hidden Technologies: Rethinking Technology in Contemporary Architecture prsented by Architizer

Technology in architecture isn’t just about the latest software release or AI tool; it’s about knowing which technologies will transform a project in meaningful, lasting ways. In this session, three A+Award-winning practices share how they approached “technology” in ways as diverse as their remarkable projects

François Chatillon, Founder and Chief Architect for Historical Monuments at Chatillon Architectes, reveals how advanced digital technologies were deployed in a critical heritage analysis ahead of the firm’s celebrated renovation of the Grand Palais.

Anne-Cécile Comar and Philippe Croisier, Founding Architects of Atelier du Pont, present Pavilion Jardins, a widely lauded addition to Parc dela Villette in Paris, the design of which favors “low-tech” bioclimatic features, proving that sometimes the traditional solutions are the most sophisticated.

Isabel Van Haut, Co-Founder, Partner & Artistic Director of Coldefy, explores the integrated role of technology in conceiving the Fondation Chine. This vibrant new cultural hub is making waves in the French capital.
